Star-Shining Bright into the Future
Star is one of the earliest cities in the Treasure Valley. Where in 1900 horse races & baseball games were held on Main street. Before Star was incorporated as a city, the Oregon Trail Corridor became Old Valley Road connecting Boise to Caldwell.(Staridaho.org)
Star is just 7 miles west of Eagle and 18 miles west of Boise. Star's population is around 10,000 (COMPASS) up from around 1800 in 2000.
Star continues to grow at a rapid pace, and many new homes and businesses are being built to accommodate that growth.
